Yes! GayToronto has two villages- . There several neighbourhoods west of Spadina Avenue, where gay men, lesbians, bisexuals, transgendered can spend their pink dollar, dining, drinking and dancing in their favourite hangouts. None of the 70 venues, have a gay bar label. but there is more homos here than downtown village at Church & Wellesley. Come an visit Toronto's new queer friendly village. A district of few outsiders know about, know as the Queer West Village.

Etobicoke, Ontario There are no gay, lesbian or queer bars in the former borough of Etobicoke. Nor are there any LGBTQ social groups. There was one from 1989 to 1994 called GALA West ( Gay And Lesbian Association West) it had 300 registered members from Etobicoke and Mississauga, but folded.

Lola. Teeny tiny tapas bar for the designer label crowd; cool patio. Summer hours: 4pm-2:30am. Mon-Fr. 1pm-2:30am. Sat & Sun. 7 Maitland St. 920-0946.
Pegasus on Church. Trivia, pool, darts... whatever tickles your fancy at this comfy bar for men and women. 489 Church St, 2nd floor. 927-8832. Pegasusonchurch.com.

The Barn. Venerable institution with a devoted party following, though sometimes navigating the three floors and their lineups can be a pain. 418 Church St. 593-9696. Thebarnnightclub.com.
Buddies in Bad Times. Lots of full venue parties over Pride (see Tallulah's, below).
Fly. Maze-like gay club with great sound system. Saturday parties with international DJs playing to shirtless wonders, Friday parties more inclusive. 8 Gloucester St. 410-5426. Flynightclub.com.
Goodhandy's. Performances often take over, but it can be a great place to dance (see Bars).
Straight. This three-floor "boutique" dance club is the scenester bar on Church. Go there if you like Scissor Sisters and MIA and dress like an American Apparel ad. 926-2501. Straightonchurch.com.
Tallulah's Cabaret. Queer party emporium (part of Buddies in Bad Times Theatre). Top 40 on Saturdays and alt events on Fridays. Mixed crowds. 12 Alexander St. 975-8555. Artsexy.ca.
